1) Bengali

 Minimum 45% in Bengali and 45% in aggregate in HS or equivalent are required.

2) English

Candidates with minimum 45% in English and 45% in aggregate only can apply.

3) Political Science

Candidates with either Political Science or Sociology combination in HS / equivalent only can apply. Minimum 45% in aggregate is required.

4) Geography

Candidates with minimum 45% in Geography and 45% in aggregate in HS / equivalent only can apply.

5) Philosophy

Candidates with minimum 45% in Philosophy and 45% in aggregate can apply.

6) Sanskrit

Candidates with minimum 45% in Sanskrit and 45% in aggregate in HS / equivalent only can apply.

7) History

Candidates with minimum 45% in History and 45% in aggregate in HS / equivalent only can apply.

At the time of Admission each student will have to show the original copies of the papers mentioned below for verification.

• Mark-Sheet of Madhyamik and Higher Secondary / Equivalent Exams.

• Admit cards of Madhyamik and Higher Secondary / Equivalent Exams.

• School or College leaving certificates.

• Pass certificates issued by the Council.

• Caste & PH Certificates are to be produced as and when necessary.

( If a candidate was admitted to any other college prior to 2010 then full information in this regard will have to be submitted. At the time of admission Discontinuation certificate in original from the previous college will have to be submitted. )
